Several new models of the InfoSlice are now available, including Serial ATA models in 2U, 3U and 5U form factors.

21-Sep-2003 - MicroSoft iSCSI driver support

All TMI products including all models of DTP and InfoSlice are now fully compatible with free MicroSoft iSCSI driver.

4-Aug-2003 - iSCSI draft 20 supported by all TMI products

All TMI products including all models of DTP and InfoSlice now support latest iSCSI revision, draft 20. All current customers can update their firmware to release 4.0 for iSCSI draft 20 support.

17-Mar-2003 - scsi resize patch accepted in Linux kernel 2.5.65

This patch was prepared by TechnoMages team to support online scsi disk resizing in Linux. Now it is possible to re-read scsi disk capacity without mount/umount. Therefore since kernel 2.5.65 Linux supports InfoSlice online resize feature.

17-Oct-2002 - Firmware version 3.1

This firmware release contains several new features:

• 2TB capacity limit is removed;
• built-in native RAID 10 support;
• TapeEmulator feature;
• Accounting.

12-Jul-2002 - Firmware version 3.0

This version includes:

• new command line utility (CLI) called tmish;
• full hotswap support;
• improved caching algorithm;
• support for FC 2Gbit data rates.

15-May-2002 - Firmware version 2.0

This is first major firmware update since initial release. It contains next major new features:

• built-in Access Control List facility;
• improved SCSI task management;
• iSCSI draft8 support;
• Tape Emulator prototype
