All models of InfoSlice RAID arrays support resizable File Systems. In order for a File System to be resizable, InfoSlice needs to be configured in a certain way and the operating system has to support this feature. Currently many operating systems support File System resizing. We have tested growing file systems with Windows 2000, Solaris and Linux. The procedures outlined here will allow you to reassign InfoSlice storage space not just between different File Systems on one machine, but between different machines as well.
